These last few months have been super busy with Black Sunshine dread sets being sent all over the world as well as having our 11th Birthday :)
The photo above shows all the sets available to buy and ready to be shipped over at the Etsy shop. As usual I will be adding new sets every week so make sure to like our Instagram and Facebook page for regular updates.
One of my most recent dread creations was inspired by this beautiful peacock image I found over on Pinterest.
Peacock Print by Brian Stevens
I love the dark shades of blue and purple against the almost neon green and turquoise. So I used several shades of blues, purples and a neon green to create the dread set.
This set is made up of blends, transitionals and splashes plus there are a few chunky knotty dreads along with my usual crochet dread style to create lots of texture.
I will be making more photo inspired dread sets in the near future! Please feel free to check out my colour inspiration board over on Pinterest HERE and let me know if there any images you would like see transformed into dreads :)
Happy New year everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and are enjoying the start of 2015 so far.
Here are a few dread sets that I loved making from 2014
This year I will be making even more dread sets which all be for direct sale on my etsy store.
At the moment I am working on a pink & purple set and a small accent kit in an interesting colour combo.
As always if there are any colour combos you would like to see available just let me know in the comments or twitter and facebook. I have a colour inspiration board over on Pinterest if you would like to take a look if there are any photos that catch your eye. Link
In other news I have set myself up a personal blog 'Destoy what you enjoy', where I will be posting about my art journals ( Wreck this journal, Smash book etc), hair dye reviews and thrift store fashion.
I will see you back here soon with more updates and photos! I hope 2015 is good to you all x
